Application Security Vulnerabilities
Woodrow Wilson, Accuvant Security Consultant
Tuesday, October 7th at 5:10 pm
This talk will discuss the major application vulnerability classes and testing solutions that are designed to identify those issues, from static code analysis, to black-box vulnerability scanners, to comprehensive grey-box analysis, and from configuration vulnerabilities to programming errors to logic vulnerabilities. We will discuss what bugs they can and cannot find, and what bugs some will never be able to find. We will cover some of the common tools and methodologies and talk about resent research as to the effectiveness of particular solutions at identifying various application vulnerability classes. This talk will assist any organization trying to develop its own Software Development Life Cycle.
Accuvant is proud to be an exhibiting sponsor with Citrix at this conference. Reserve your place at the conference now by contacting your college/district's 3CBG Conference coordinator or Chief Technology Officer. Each district is handling the registration of its participants and will send an attendee list and a single check to the host district (Coast Community College District) covering all registration fees. Please visit the conference website for more information.
